The MH is Hana's flagship MC cartridge combining Excel Sound's old world expertise, craftsmanship and precision engineering. Excel Sound manufactures all the major components, thus enabling the production of affordable cartridges with an unparalleled sound excellence and sound quality.

● Nude Microline stylus
The MH uses a Nude Microline stylus that almost exactly duplicates the shape of the cutting lathe stylus used to produce the original master disc from which records are made. This enables it to track portions of the groove other styli simply cannot reach and fitting more precisely into the contours of the vinyl groove. This enhances tracking to capture the most delicate musical details with better frequency reproduction, stereo imaging, and nuanced resolution.

● High Purity copper wire
High-purity copper wire is used for winding its moving coils, offering clarion and nuanced clarity of sound. The ML features a new low impedance generator for optimized performance with a broader range of phono preamps.

● Delrin© cartridge body
The MH cartridge body is injection molded from Delrin©, a special polymer with improved mechanical characteristics for better resonance damping, to reveal more low level information and enhance dynamic range.

● Cryogenic Processing
Cryogenic processing is Cold Annealing at near absolute zero temperature, It restructures metals at the molecular level. Especially important in the Alnico based magnetic electro-motive circuit (cartridge signal generator). The MH parts treated include the front yoke as well as center and rear components. The result is a more precise and controlled magnetic flux field for greater linearity and musical sound quality.

● Threaded fittings and Brass Cap
Built into the M Series Delrin© cartridge body are metal threaded fittings for headshell mounting hardware, offering easier attachment and a superior mechanical interface for better bass and dynamics
