"I recently bought a belt for my well-tempered record player from the 1980s. I have tried other less expensive belts and even the monofilament which is used on newer models and none of them gave me the proper speed. The one I bought gives me exactly the right speed on both 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. Obviously, the belts I have tried have been either too thick or had another factor that affected the speed. Your belt was expensive but it was worth it in my opinion."
