M55 Series

The LP GEAR M55 series is a takeoff from Jico's recreation of the M44-7 cartridge. Originally, Shure had the Shure M55 & M44 Series composed of the M55E. M44C, M44E, and M44-7 cartrdiges. The production of Jico's J44A-7 cartridge opened the opprtunity for us to revive the M55E cartridge so high fidelity vinyl listeners (vs DJs) can again enjoy record playing with Shure inspired sound quality.
