Inspired by Shure's unequalled DJ cartridges and desire to extend Shure's DJ cartridge legacy, Jico emulated the Shure M44-7 with its development new J44A-7 cartridge. It's not an exact replica - it sounds different to the Shure original but, in a good way - not inferior at all.

It actually sounds more impactful, smoother with a slightly warmer tonal characterwith and improved channel separatio and dimensionality.

Overall, it's a solid replacement for the original, offering great tracking and an improved sound.
