PRO-JECT MOTOR SUSPENSION BELT
This belt is a replacement for the motor suspension which will have deteriorated over time, compromising vibration isolation or speed stability. The belt decouples the motor from the record player's plinth. By decoupling the motor from the plinth, all the vibrations created by the motor when in use do not resonate or transfer to the plinth. This design of balancing the motor on a suspension belt is used in many Pro-Ject turntables.
