The Furutech deStat II is a small handheld device designed to eliminate static charge in music and video discs, equipment, cables, LPs and other devices at home, studio and the laboratory. Powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, its powerful fan blows away dust while a perfect combination of negative and positive ions emitted from its ion flow generator eliminate static.

The deStat II is simple and very easy to use. Simply hold the deStat over your media and press one button! In just 10 seconds it removes dust and static charge.

Almost every system component benefits from eliminating its static charge. Static charges on analog and optical media - LPs, CDs and DVDs - can lead to distracting noise and compromised sound. You can also use deStat to remove static from the audio/video equipment itself (best to turn them off during treatment) plus power cords, line-level interconnects, speaker cables, and metal record clamps! Some household items may even benefit from static charge removal. And there's a safety circuit preventing shock from the Balanced Ion Flow Generator.
